{"id":987647514,"date":"2022-06-21T03:53:22","date_gmt":"2022-06-21T02:53:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/p4h.world\/news\/mali-ramed-3-million-people-to-be-registered-by-2022\/"},"modified":"2022-06-21T03:53:22","modified_gmt":"2022-06-21T02:53:22","slug":"mali-ramed-3-million-people-to-be-registered-by-2022","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/p4h.world\/en\/news\/mali-ramed-3-million-people-to-be-registered-by-2022\/","title":{"rendered":"Mali-RAMED: 3 million people to be registered by 2022"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span><span><span><span><br \/>\n  <span>After Bamako and Sikasso,<\/span><br \/>\n<\/span><span lang=\"FR\"><br \/>\n  <span> the <\/span><br \/>\n<\/span><span><br \/>\n  <span>Minister of Health and Social Development Mrs Dieminatou SANGAR\u00c9 <\/span><br \/>\n<\/span><span lang=\"FR\"><br \/>\n  <span>proceeded, in the town of Kayes, this Friday June 17, 2022 to the <\/span><br \/>\n<\/span><span><br \/>\n  <span>the launch ceremony for the enrolment of three (3) million indigents.<\/span><br \/>\n<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span><span><span><span><span>This policy of helping the needy  <\/span><\/span><span lang=\"FR\"><span>part of the Universal Health Insurance Scheme (RAMU)  <\/span><\/span><span><span>is an important point in the government action plan initiated by the Transition&#8217;s highest authorities.<\/span><\/span> <span><span>The Minister of Health welcomed and appreciated the effective presence of regional officials involved in the enrolment of 3 million beneficiaries in the medical assistance scheme (RAMED).<\/span><\/span> <span><span>According to Dieminatou SANGAR\u00c9  <\/span><\/span><span lang=\"FR\"><span>the<\/span><\/span><span><span>&nbsp;&nbsp; is to enable every Malian to receive medical care in Mali.  <\/span><\/span><span lang=\"FR\"><span>to all  <\/span><\/span><span><span>level<\/span><\/span><span lang=\"FR\"><span>x<\/span><\/span><span><span>  of our pyramid.<\/span><\/span><span><span>  This  <\/span><\/span><span><span>The vision is built around three key areas:<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span><span><span lang=\"FR\"><br \/>\n  <span>Develop<\/span><br \/>\n<\/span><span><br \/>\n  <span> geographically accessible quality healthcare services;<\/span><br \/>\n<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span><span><span><span lang=\"FR\"><br \/>\n  <span>Implement <\/span><br \/>\n<\/span><span><br \/>\n  <span>set up a system for financing health care demand through a third-party payment mechanism with a view to achieving universal health coverage;<\/span><br \/>\n<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span><span><span><span lang=\"FR\"><br \/>\n  <span>Bringing<\/span><br \/>\n<\/span><span><br \/>\n  <span> State assistance to all populations in need.<\/span><br \/>\n<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span><span><span><span><span>The Ministry of Health and Social Development, through the Agence Nationale d&#8217;Assistance M\u00e9dicale (ANAM), is responsible for the RAMED component.<\/span><\/span> <span><span>The Minister has invited all players to commit themselves fully to achieving these objectives.<\/span><\/span> <span><span>To achieve this, social development technical services need to identify and raise awareness.<\/span><\/span> <span><span>As for local officials and mayors,<\/span><\/span> <span><span>they are responsible for drawing up indigent registers, issuing certificates of indigence and paying financial contributions.  <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span><span><span><span lang=\"FR\"><br \/>\n  <span>During the ceremony, <\/span><br \/>\n<\/span><span><br \/>\n  <span>the good example of the rural commune of Logo was <\/span><br \/>\n<\/span> <span lang=\"FR\"><span>highlighted.
