Niger’s Minister of Health gave an explanatory statement on the draft law on CMU at a Cabinet meeting held at last Monday under the chairmanship of the Prime Minister.<\/p>\n
At the end of the meeting, all the ministers were sensitive to the importance of implementing the CMU project. <\/p>\n
– In principle, the CMU architecture has been retained, and ministers are invited to send their comments on the CSU strategy document to the Minister of Health;<\/p>\n
-the Prime Minister has asked that the content of the law be streamlined and that a certain number of details be left to application decrees,<\/p>\n
– the three projects (strategy, law and INAM) will be presented together at a future meeting.<\/p>\n
– a welcome appeasement between the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Social Protection. <\/p>\n
