From December 9 to 10, 2021, a delegation from Senegal took part in a study tour of the experiences of C\u00f4te d’Ivoire and Mali in implementing the UEMOA regulation on social mutuality. <\/p>\n
The Programme d’Appui aux Strat\u00e9gies Sociales (PASS) acted as facilitator for a study tour to C\u00f4te d’Ivoire by a Senegalese delegation from Thursday, December 9 to Friday, December 10, 2021. <\/p>\n
The delegation discussed a number of issues with the AMS-CI team, including the following:<\/p>\n
– the integration of mutual health insurance companies in the deployment of CMU in C\u00f4te d’Ivoire, as well as the terms and conditions of their contribution as delegated management bodies;<\/p>\n
– the relationship between the umbrella organization and AMAMUS, identifying the roles and responsibilities of each structure;<\/p>\n
– harmonization of the care packages offered by the various AMS-CI member mutuals;<\/p>\n
– best practices in terms of collaboration with other state structures involved in health insurance and social protection;<\/p>\n
– the existence of an internal healthcare network with health facilities belonging to social mutuals;<\/p>\n
– the achievements of the AMS-CI, through its inclusion in the national committee responsible for drawing up the CMU program, as well as the organization of the international “journ\u00e9es de la mutualit\u00e9 sociale”;<\/p>\n
– working with the private health sector to expand the care package offered by mutual organizations.<\/p>\n
