Under the impetus of the Programme d’Appui aux Strat\u00e9gies Sociales (PASS), the initiative for social protection in rural areas (iPS-MR) has set up a high-level cross-sectoral cooperation through an innovative public-private partnership involving the NOVARTIS Group.<\/p>\n
Operational since November 2020, the platform is made up of the Association Nationale des Organisations Professionnelles Agricoles de C\u00f4te d’Ivoire (ANOPACI), the Centre Ivoirien de Recherche Economique et Social (CIRES), the Programme d’Appui aux Strat\u00e9gies Sociales (PASS) and theInitiative de Protection Sociale en milieu rural<\/em> (iPS-MR<\/strong>). On Thursday February 3, 2022, it welcomed President Cl\u00e9ment Ouattara’s CNA-ESCOM (Conf\u00e9d\u00e9ration Nationale des \u00c9tablissements Sanitaires \u00e0 base communautaire), as part of the development of an annual action plan to be submitted toiPS-MR<\/strong> members. <\/p>\n The confederation’s presence in the initiative is easily justified according to Cl\u00e9ment Ouattara, Chairman of the CNA-ESCOM Board of Directors, who testified to the remarkable resilience shown by FSU-COM over the years, despite the vicissitudes and sometimes formidable obstacles. Their ability to meet the challenge of improving access to primary healthcare for as many people as possible, while ensuring the financial equilibrium of each program, and the strength of the community commitment that ensures their sustainability, are exemplary. It was therefore natural, at a time when the Platform was considering its action program in favor of the rural world, in his view, to look to the ESCOM movement for inspiration and references in terms of community participation.<\/p>\n
