Implemented by R4D in collaboration with Duke University and the international NGO Feed the Children and in partnership with P4H, this USAID-funded project aims to:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"fr\">=&gt; Support transparent and inclusive national platforms for accountability and knowledge to identify challenges, test solutions and encourage implementation.  <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"fr\">=&gt; Build the capacity and collective commitment of stakeholders for a structured, iterative learning process at national level and between countries in a sub-region that can help translate tools into national contexts.  <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"fr\">=&gt; Leverage regional networks, organizations and institutions to advocate accountability in health financing and share knowledge to help countries achieve their UHC goals.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"fr\">The Burkina team was very well represented, with :<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Dr Pierre Yam\u00e9ogo, ST CSU at the Ministry of Health<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Mrs Aminata Tou Nana, Head of DIvision Programmation, Execution, Suivi, Ministry of Economy and Finance<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Simon Kabor\u00e9, Executive Director of the R\u00e9seau d&#8217;Acc\u00e8s aux M\u00e9dicaments Essentiels (not pictured&#8230;)<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Dr Yves Kinda, ST AMU, Minist\u00e8re de la Fonction Publique, du Travail et de la Protection Sociale,<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Samas&#8217;ka le Jah, co-founder of Balai Citoyen<\/p>\n<p>and regional representatives based in Ouagadougou:<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Alexis Bigeard, Health Financing Policy Advisor for CSU, WHO IST\/WA<\/p>\n<p>&#8211;&nbsp; Dr Namoudou Keita, Health System Manager, WAHO<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Dr Bakary Sidi Kon\u00e9, Social Protection Manager, UEMOA<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The project &#8220;The African Collaborative for Health Financing Solutions (ACS) held its first regional meeting as planned on February 13, 14 &amp; 15 in Accra.
