{"id":987656732,"date":"2022-06-23T03:53:21","date_gmt":"2022-06-23T02:53:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/p4h.world\/news\/inclusive-social-protection-in-mali-launch-of-the-wsm-dgd-2022-2026-program\/"},"modified":"2022-06-23T03:53:21","modified_gmt":"2022-06-23T02:53:21","slug":"inclusive-social-protection-in-mali-launch-of-the-wsm-dgd-2022-2026-program","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/p4h.world\/en\/news\/inclusive-social-protection-in-mali-launch-of-the-wsm-dgd-2022-2026-program\/","title":{"rendered":"Inclusive social protection in Mali: launch of the WSM-DGD 2022 2026 program"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span><br \/>\n  <span><br \/>\n    <span><br \/>\n      <span><br \/>\n        <span lang=\"FR\">On June 17, 2022, the international Network for Social Protection Rights (Insp!r-Mali), in partnership with Belgian organizations, officially launched the WSM\/DGD<\/span><br \/>\n      <\/span><br \/>\n    <\/span><br \/>\n  <\/span><br \/>\n<\/span>program for the period<span><br \/>\n  <span><br \/>\n    <span><br \/>\n      <span><br \/>\n        <span lang=\"FR\"> 2022-2026 in the area of the right to social protection.<\/span><br \/>\n      <\/span><br \/>\n    <\/span><br \/>\n  <\/span><br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span><span><span><span><span lang=\"FR\">The INSPIR-Mali network, a member of the intercontinental INSPIR network, brings together twenty (20) organizations, including trade unions, non-governmental organizations, local authorities, the mutualist and health movement, disabled people&#8217;s organizations, microfinance institutions and educational social movements.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span><span><span><span><span><span lang=\"FR\"><span><span><span>The launch ceremony was presided over by the representative of the Ministry of Health and Social Development, Ms. Dj\u00e9n\u00e9bou Tour\u00e9, in the presence of the President of Insp!r-Mali, Mr. Abdoul Wahab Tour\u00e9, the West Africa Program Manager of We Social Movements (WSM), Mr. Il\u00e9re N&#8217;Gon Gang, the General Manager of the Union Technique de la Mutualit\u00e9 Malienne, Mr. Issa Sissouma, and partners from the DGD (Belgian Development Cooperation).  <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span><span><span><span><span><span lang=\"FR\"><span><span><span>This<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><span><span><span><span><span><span lang=\"FR\"><span><span><span>&nbsp;The four-year program will target women and young people, and contribute to improving access to decent work with social protection for vulnerable informal and precarious formal workers, especially young people and women. More than 6390 people, including 78% women and 38% young people, will be targeted for access to more decent work by 2026.
