According to statements made by the Deputy Minister of Health Insurance and Management of the Single Health System (SUS), 7,473,902 people have subscribed to the SUS in Bolivia<\/a>, from its implementation in 2019 until February 2024. Through the SUS, a total of 244,871,928 services were provided free of charge in public sub-sector facilities to the Bolivian population that did not have health insurance during that period.<\/p>\n

The national government makes transfers to departmental autonomous governments and municipal autonomous governments to guarantee the operation of the SUS in the country,<\/p>\n
