Diverse methodologies including scoping reviews and case studies across eight countries (Australia, Canada, Chile, China, Germany, Indonesia, South Africa and Spain) were employed.<\/p>\n

Key findings<\/strong> underscore challenges in blending payment methods, sparse literature on payment distribution decisions, and methodological limitations in evaluations. Crucially, this research advocates for proactive learning and cross-country knowledge exchange to refine future healthcare policies emphasizing the significance of sharing experiences to mitigate implementation failures.<\/p>\n

With insights from the Kansai region (Japan) and beyond, the programme promises to enrich global findings, potentially informing local healthcare initiatives, including payment for performance strategies.<\/p>\n
