A memorandum on cooperation and mutual activity was signed between the State Agency for Compulsory Health Insurance (the Agency) of Azerbaijan<\/a> and the State Health Insurance Fund of the Republic of Uzbekistan<\/a> (the Fund). The two funds reached an agreement to exchange experience on methods to monitor the quality of medical care, preferential drug provision, financial mechanisms, information technologies and other types of activities within compulsory health insurance, to work on issues of mutual interest, and to perform other activities together.<\/p>\n For information, the introduction of compulsory health insurance in Uzbekistan is implemented gradually with pilots started in several regions.<\/span><\/span> From 2025, it is planned to introduce compulsory medical insurance in the entire territory of Uzbekistan.
