On June 20, 21 and 22, 2024, several experts met in Abidjan, C\u00f4te d’<\/a>Ivoire, under the aegis of theAfrican Union<\/a> Commission’s AUDA-NEPAD in partnership with the African Business Council, the Federation of West African Chambers of Commerce and Industry, as well as ministries of health and private sector experts, to mark a decisive step in the implementation of the declaration adopted in 2019.<\/p>\n Through this declaration, the African heads of state and government reaffirmed their commitment to increasing domestic investment in health, in line with Agenda 2063 and Africa’s Health Strategy<\/a> 2016-2030.<\/p>\n
