The new funding initiative for more climate-resilient health system is developed by Indonesia’s Health Ministry, in collaboration with UNDP and WHO. The initiative is supported by the Green Climate Fund, a multilateral financing mechanism that pools donations to support developing countries to response the climate change related issues.<\/p>\n The funding initiative aims to make Indonesia\u2019s health system more resilient to the climate crisis by funding research and pilot projects to deepen knowledge on the issue, as well as by motivate hospitals to decrease carbon emissions. The Health Ministry urged that the implementation of this initiative needs support from all relevant ministries.
