The President of the Republic emphasized that the New Model of Consolidated Procurement of Medicines and Medical Supplies in Mexico<\/a> aims to make the purchasing process more efficient and transparent, and to guarantee the supply of medicines and materials required.<\/p>\n

A total of $130 billion Mexican pesos (approximately $6.3 billion US dollars) will be allocated and 26 public health institutions will participate in this purchasing mechanism in the period 2025-2026. During the previous government administration, prices for the purchase of medicines had already been reduced, and with this new contracting model, even better prices are expected to be achieved. <\/p>\n
