Efforts include digitizing the operations of medical institutions, equipping them with necessary medical equipment to provide a state-guaranteed package of medical services, and organizing the free provision of these services based on referrals from family doctors.<\/p>\n At the same time, in accordance with the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PQ-5199 dated July 28, 2021 \u201cOn measures to further improve the system of specialized medical care in the healthcare sector\u201d<\/strong>, the provision of necessary medical care to persons belonging to privileged categories based on electronic referrals at the expense of the State budget has been organized. To this end, the State Medical Insurance Fund has established contractual cooperation with a number of state and non-state medical organizations in the regions, including Navoi region.<\/span><\/p>\n Since the beginning of 2023, the State Medical Insurance Fund has established contractual relations with district medical associations in the capital, as well as city hospitals and other medical institutions for the purchase of medical services. Along with the above-mentioned work, measures are being taken in Tashkent to provide patients with chronic diseases with free medicines based on electronic prescriptions. This system is currently being implemented in Yunusabad, Chilonzor and Almazar districts, and will gradually cover other districts of the capital and other regions.<\/span><\/p>\n Measures are being taken to introduce the state medical insurance system throughout the republic.
