Belarusbank and the Ministry of Health have signed an agreement to launch a new social initiative titled “Affordable Medical Care with Belarusbank.” This project aims to modernize the fleet of medical vehicles serving healthcare institutions in rural areas and small towns.<\/strong><\/p>\n

For over a decade, Belarusbank<\/a> has supported the healthcare sector through its “Vector of Kindness”<\/strong> social project. This initiative has provided ambulances and reanimobiles to healthcare facilities in Brest, Pinsk, Baranovichi, Polotsk, Grodno, Ostrovets, Soligorsk, Bobruisk, and Mogilev. Additionally, it has facilitated the purchase of advanced medical equipment and strengthened the material and technical resources of numerous hospitals and clinics. Over the past ten years, Belarusbank has allocated more than 4 million rubles for healthcare improvements.<\/p>\n

The latest project marks the seventh socially oriented initiative<\/strong> by Belarusbank. Speaking at the signing ceremony, Viktor Ananich, Chairman of the Board of JSC ASB Belarusbank<\/strong> and Deputy Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Council of the Republic on Economy, Budget, and Finance, emphasized the importance of the project:<\/p>\n

“Today, we are launching another socially impactful initiative. Together with the Ministry of Health, Belarusbank can now assist medical institutions serving rural populations and small towns, addressing a critical need. This initiative aligns with policies focused on sustainable regional development.”<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Alexander Khodjaev, Minister of Health of Belarus<\/a>,<\/strong> highlighted the significance of the partnership:<\/p>\n

“We already have a strong foundation of cooperation, and I am optimistic about its continued success. The Ministry is committed to improving the quality of medical care in rural areas and actively seeks diverse resources to achieve this goal. The vehicles being delivered under this project are equipped with modern medical technology.”<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Under the agreement, Belarusbank will provide sponsorship for purchasing 12 medical vehicles manufactured by MAZ-Kupava<\/strong> in 2025, with each Belarusian region receiving two vehicles. These vehicles are specifically designed to navigate even the most remote corners of the country, fulfilling the need for locally produced solutions. Vitaly Yakubov, General Director of MAZ-Kupava Automobile Trailer and Body Plant,<\/strong> explained:<\/p>\n

“We designed a compact vehicle to ensure doctors can reach every part of the country. Our priority was to create a fully Belarusian-made car, although the first batch includes some components sourced from Russia.”<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

This project not only opens the “Year of Improvement”<\/strong> but also continues Belarus\u2019s five-year focus on quality improvement.<\/strong> By investing in domestic production and supporting healthcare professionals, Belarusbank reinforces its commitment to patients and the medical community, honoring one of the most noble and responsible professions.<\/p>\n

Belarusbank\u2019s experience in social initiatives will contribute to the success of this endeavor. Previous collaborations with the Ministry of Education and Minsk Automobile Plant include the “To School with Belarusbank”<\/strong> project, which equipped rural schools with buses for student transportation. The bank also implements other impactful initiatives, such as:<\/p>\n

  • “Vector of Kindness”<\/strong> \u2013 Assistance to healthcare institutions.<\/li>\n

  • “Space of Inspiration”<\/strong> \u2013 Support for cultural institutions.<\/li>\n
  • “Parents\u2019 Home”<\/strong> \u2013 Construction and maintenance of family-type children\u2019s homes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Through these programs, Belarusbank continues to contribute to the well-being and development of communities across Belarus.<\/p>\n
