Botswana<\/a> has announced a major new partnership with the Susan Thompson Buffett Foundation<\/a> aimed at transforming the country’s healthcare system, with a focus on maternal health, universal health coverage (UHC), and primary healthcare services. President Duma Boko welcomed the Foundation\u2019s Vice President, Dr. Senait Fisseha, for high-level discussions on collaborative financing and support for sustainable health development.<\/p>\n The partnership will support the development of national strategies and policies to enhance maternal healthcare, including a national surgical, obstetric, and gynaecological plan to ensure safer childbirth.
