The Saudi Council of Health Insurance plans to hire a consulting firm to study the introduction of health insurance benefits for individual workers not yet covered. The study will focus on the impact of mandatory health insurance for domestic workers employed by a single household with more than four workers, effective from July 1, 2024. It will also assess the feasibility of extending coverage to households employing three or more, or two or more workers, and examine raising coverage limits under the Unified Health Insurance Policy. Currently, coverage includes primary care, hospitalization, emergencies, vaccinations, tests, and unlimited clinic visits.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
