In September 2025, despite declining international support for health funding, the government of Peru is making efforts to guarantee free treatment for people living with HIV\/AIDS.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Peru’s Ministry of Health (MINSA) announced at the beginning of September 2025, that it can guarantee free treatment for people living with HIV\/AIDS in the country. Funding for this type of program worldwide has been particularly affected by the recent sharp decline in international support for health programs<\/g>. With two public tenders, MINSA already has enough drugs to treat people living with HIV\/AIDS for fifteen months. <\/p>\n
