In Chad, the pilot phase of the Medical Assistance Scheme (AMED) for the economically deprived in June 2025 has begun. The Caisse Nationale d’Assurance Sant\u00e9 (CNAS) has carried out a series of decisive activities in three pilot districts. <\/strong><\/p>\n [\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text admin_label=”TO BE EDITED – TEXT OF THE NEWS – BLOCK 1 -” _builder_version=”4.21.0″ _module_preset=”default” custom_padding=”||1em||false|false” global_colors_info=”{}”]<\/p>\n At the end of June 2025, the Caisse Nationale d’Assurance Sant\u00e9 (CNAS<\/a> ) carried out a series of decisive activities in the three pilot districts of the Couverture Sant\u00e9 Universelle (CSU) – Danamadji, Bongor and Ab\u00e9ch\u00e9 – for the official start of care for the economically deprived under the R\u00e9gime d’Assistance M\u00e9dicale (AMED).<\/p>\n [\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text admin_label=”TO BE EDITED – TEXT OF THE NEWS – BLOCK 2″ _builder_version=”4.21.0″ _module_preset=”default” custom_padding=”||1em||false|false” global_colors_info=”{}”]<\/p>\n Between June 27 and July 3, 2025, CNAS organized a number of preparatory actions in each district, including a briefing for healthcare providers on the health insurance scheme, a presentation of the assumption of responsibility and control tools, and detailed explanations of the basket of care covered.
