Regional institutions are important platforms for amplifying and complementing country work by sharing intraregional experiences and knowledge. Compared to local institutions, regional collaborations have the added value of mobilizing resources and expertise across national boundaries, thus creating a momentum.<\/p>\n
[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.21.0″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”]The P4H Network engages in particular in four regions: Eastern Europe and Central Asia<\/a>, Asia<\/a>, Latin America and the Caribbean<\/a> and Africa<\/a>. Countries in each region share features, such as geographical location or, as with countries that make up Eastern Europe and Central Asia, a common historical experience. And they may share concern around a topic. For example, in 2023, the P4H Network held a series of three webinars<\/a> with regional experts who shared their insights on key aspects of social health protection (SHP) and health financing (HF) for migrant workers and their families in Asia, Africa and Latin America and the Caribbean.\u00a0Throughout these regions, P4H country focal persons and regional focal persons also engage continually with stakeholders to advance P4H\u2019s mission. Convening regional stakeholders \u2013 individuals, groups or governments \u2013 presents invaluable opportunities for learning from the variety of experiences of countries within a region and across regions.
