En la gesti\u00f3n 2024, 25 millones de asegurados del Seguro Integral de Salud (SIS) tienen garantizado el financiamiento de sus atenciones preventivas, recuperativas y de rehabilitaci\u00f3n, de manera integral y gratuita, en los establecimientos de salud p\u00fablicos del Ministerio de Salud y de los gobiernos regionales a nivel nacional.<\/p>\n
El SIS cubre m\u00e1s de 12 mil enfermedades, incluyendo diversos tipos de c\u00e1ncer, enfermedades renales cr\u00f3nicas, raras o hu\u00e9rfanas, Covid-19, salud mental, afecciones cr\u00f3nicas como hipertensi\u00f3n y diabetes, enfermedades infecciosas como el dengue, la malaria; todo el proceso de gestaci\u00f3n, parto y puerperio, y tambi\u00e9n los traslados de emergencia, beneficio de sepelio y alimentaci\u00f3n de las gestantes en casas maternas.<\/p>\n
