In the framework of the debates around a possible form of a public National Health Insurance in Mozambique, a first draft of essencial services package has been prepared by the consultants working with ILO.
This proposal will be reviewed and necessarily aligned with MoH and WHO ongoing work about health benefit packages in the framework of the public provision (National Health Service – NHS).
The proposal would imply a significant improvement of delivery capacity, including infrastructure, equipment, staff, and management capacities.
