The report, Climate Finance for Powering Healthcare, authored by Sustainable Energy for All (SEforALL) and Oxford Policy Management, with support from the Global Energy Alliance for People and Planet (GEAPP), addresses the urgent need for reliable electricity in healthcare facilities. Approximately 1 billion people worldwide rely on facilities without consistent or any electricity access, a key barrier to achieving universal health coverage. This case study explores how climate finance, including grants, loans, and investments, can support healthcare electrification and climate-proof facilities through renewable energy and resilient technologies.
