The pilot project “Free medical care for children under 5 years of age and beneficiaries of the national family security grant program (PNBSF) through the community-based health insurance system (CMU)” will take place in the Kaffrine district, one of the PFSN’s intervention regions. The project will enable children under the age of 5 and beneficiaries of the national family security grant program (PNBSF) to have access to the benefit packages offered by community-based mutual health insurance schemes as part of the CMU. As a result, they will receive free care at all levels of the health pyramid, from health posts to public health establishments, through their membership of the community health mutuals in the department of Kaffrine.
