In 2025, Senegal’s Ministry of Health and Social Action (MSAS) has developed a health sector policy letter in a participatory and inclusive manner, involving all key players in the sector, under the supervision of the Ministry of the Economy, Planning and Cooperation (MEPC). The letter is based on the political will to meet health needs, while guaranteeing universal health coverage, without exclusion or financial difficulties. The policy is based on a harmonized framework for cooperation between MSAS and its development partners (COMPACT Santé). This new orientation has been designed under the supervision of the MEPC.
