The prevalence of financial vulnerability that exists in countries is shown as the proportion of the population that overspends on health and the proportion of the population that is being driven by health expenditures to the poverty line. This line is defined as the greater of the poverty line of USD 1.90 and 50% of the average consumption poverty line.
