In order to assess the current financial context, it is necessary to collect data
from all sources of funding in the healthcare sector. This analysis would
carry out a gap analysis in relation to investment needs for priorities
to identify areas of financial discrepancy and overlap
between the government and its partners. The aim of resource mapping is to
inform the Ministry of Health and its partners about the levels and details of the
current and future availability of funds from all government and external sources,
as well as the targeted interventions and cost categories.
