Uganda has made significant strides in its journey to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by enhancing the health and survival of women and children during pregnancy, childbirth, and adolescence. This effort began in 2013 with the development of the first Reproductive, Maternal, Newborn, Child, and Adolescent Health (RMNCAH) Sharpened Plan, aimed at accelerating progress toward the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs).
