Senegal’s Ministry of Health and Social Action has produced a report on health accounts for the years 2022 and 2023. Accurate and reliable financial data can guide health policies and the use of resources. Health accounts are therefore a tool for decision-making and the formulation of health policies. In Senegal, the development of health accounts is part of an approach to transparency and accountability, to strengthen governance of the sector and help improve budget planning.
