Document

The NHIF was given a mandate by the Ministry of Health of Kenya to implement UHC in October, 2012. This generated controversy among key stakeholders concerned about  allegations inefficiencies  and precarious financial sustainability of the initiative.  However, the NHIF has been part of a reform agenda and a strategic review of the organization with the goal of changing  perception. This reports provides the results of the review and the lessons learnt along the way.
