The integration of refugees into national health systems requires context-specific strategies that account for societal attitudes, organizational structures, and financial realities, rather than relying on a single universal approach. Political commitment to universal health coverage, sustainable external financing, improved data systems, and targeted authorization for refugee health workers are critical for successful and equitable integration. Despite progress, significant knowledge gaps remain, necessitating further research to optimize the financing, management, and evaluation of refugee health integration policies.
