The Guera health delegation organized a capacity-building workshop for 335 health workers in Mongo from February 22 to 26, 2021, in partnership with the GAVI Alliance. Representing the Governor and launching the activities of this training course, the Guera provincial health delegate, Dr Djonga, thanked the Chadian government and the GAVI Alliance, which has mobilized enormous resources to increase priority vaccine coverage.
The aim of this training course is to enhance the skills of nurses, state-qualified midwives and technical health staff. It focused on four modules over 6 days: (i) the Expanded Program on Immunization (EPI), (ii) Integrated Management of Childhood Illness (IMCI), (iii) maternal and neonatal health, and (iv) nutrition.
