The Congress of the Republic approved additional resources to be allocated to the Ministry of Health for the strengthening of the national network of oncology services.
Within the framework of Article 38 of the Law for Comprehensive Cancer Care in Guatemala of March 2024, Q600 million equivalent to US$7.75 million were approved to be allocated to the budget of the Ministry of Health for the strengthening of the national network of oncology services, equipment, health infrastructure, medicines and health technology, capacity building, training of specialized human resources and research.
