CNAM benefits: an update on the situation in Côte d’Ivoire

As of June 20, 2022, 3,424,953 people had registered. Of the 3,253,660 cards produced, 2,420,955 were distributed. With regard to health care benefits, statistics for this coverage as of June 20, 2022 show that 202,655 insured persons have been treated. There were also 615,549 deeds issued and 166,549 prescriptions dispensed.

The Institut de Prévoyance Sociale recorded 1,101 health establishments, 832 pharmacies and 55 army health centers, including one level 2 center. In addition, there are 66 public and private company health centers, 21 church health centers including one level 2, and 911 public health establishments at all three levels of the health pyramid.

According to , head of the provider control and monitoring department at CNAM’s benefits department, “The care network continues to expand, reaching all public health establishments. It will also extend to private health establishments legally authorized to practice”.
