The official encouraged African experts to engage with Iranian universities, research centers, medical institutions, and pharmaceutical companies to foster these ties. The Iranian government is committed to strengthening these commercial relations through strategic initiatives aimed at increasing trade volumes.
In a related context, President Masoud Pezeshkian hailed Iran’s health system as a role model globally, particularly highlighting its effective primary healthcare services. In a letter at a national seminar, he acknowledged the contributions of healthcare staff, particularly in vaccination, prenatal care, and disease control. The president noted improvements such as increased life expectancy and reduced infant mortality, attributing these advances to the dedication of health workers.
Additionally, he highlighted ongoing health programs like universal health coverage that ensure millions receive continuous healthcare, reiterating the administration’s commitment to elevating the country’s healthcare system through the efforts of its workforce.
