The P4H Leadership Program for UHC (L4UHC) is getting increasing popularity because of its focus on developing personal and collective skills in understanding and addressing non-technical aspects of UHC. It is a year long program consisting of 3 modules. Pakistan is one of the 3 countries along with Myanmar and Viet Nam participating in the second L4UHC for Asia that started in March 2019. The country team consists of government and provincial officials involved in implementing government policies aimed at advancing UHC in Pakistan. During the first and second modules of the Program which were hosted by Sri Lanka in March and Kazakhstan in June 2019, the participants developed competencies in observing, sensing, listening, connecting and initiating collective actions. During these module sessions, the participants identified financial protection as their main focus area and enrollment as the key challenge. The L4UHC coaching workshop for the Pakistan participants organized in Islamabad from 12-13 November 2019 provides a momentum to gather together once again to discuss and advance their enrollment promotion efforts and collective action initiatives.
