The Ministry of Health will continue to receive the largest budget allocation in Budget 2023. This reflects the government priorities on universal access to quality healthcare and prevention of non-communicable diseases.
In addition, the budget will be funded to strengthen public health function, especially in disease surveillance and public health emergency preparedness in the future.
