On November 15, from 3pm to 5pm, the TFPs met with the Global Fund team (Jean-Thomas Nouboussi, Portfolio Manager, Francesca Guzzo, Alberic D’Aiglepiere, Natach Heffinck; Sarah Hoibak) and the GAVI SCM (Dr Ahawo Komi M. Alain). The following agenda included speeches on PADS, the financing channel for RSS funds:
1. Presentation of Global Fund and GAVI HSS grants/ Coordination with the World Bank and other partners
2. PADS audit by the Global Fund and GAVI: Development of a joint PADS capacity-building plan
3. Follow-up to the supply chain assessment: presentation of the draft transformation plan
We share a few notes here as the debates are part of a better understanding of GFTAM and GAVI HSS and the reform of pooled funding and strategic purchasing.
