The Minister of Health, Armindo Daniel Tiago, met on 16th April, 2021 with health development partners to take stock of external support in defined priority areas.
The Minister exposed the priorities for this period, being the most relevant i) The project to expand the health infrastructure network, with “One District, One Hospital”, ii) Improvement of pharma logistics, iii) Training of specialized doctors, iv) Community Health Sub-system, aimed at complementing and strengthening Primary Health Care. He informed about the Covid vaccination campaign, which started in mid-March.
Partners exposed their vision on the above mentioned priorities, including the need to improve and equalize the distribution of human resources, invest in measures to ensure high quality, and ensure service continuity in the context of the Covid pandemic.
