The Burkinabe Ministry of Health has officially launched the 2021-2023 Global Fund grants for the fight against HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria and for Health System Strengthening (HSS) in Burkina Faso. This subsidy is worth more than 134 billion FCFA.
Under the Global Fund’s New Funding Mechanism (NMF), launched since 2015, Burkina Faso receives funding every 3 years. These subsidies will go towards the response to HIV/AIDS, the fight against tuberculosis and malaria, as well as Health System Strengthening (HSS).
