On 5 Oct, the Senior Presidential Advisor for Health and Population, Dr. Speciosa Wandira-Kazibwe circulates a new draft of the Health Financing Strategy 2013-2023. She specifically indicates that this is a draft for the Health Policy Advisory Committee (HPAC), and that the format was somewhat different from what they have been working on, some elements shall be presented as annexes.

On 21 Sep 2013, the Senior Presidential Advisor shares a new draft or the Health Financing Strategy 2013-2023 with the P4H CD. Dr. Speciosa writes that they have consulted the Permanent Secretaries and HE the President, who provided some inputs; that they would meet him again the 1st week of November; that it is especially critical to have him on board even before proceeding to Cabinet; that the current draft has been circulated to all members of Cabinet and the key Parliamentary Committees; and that they plan to meet the key sector Ministers within the next two weeks.
Dr. Speciosa has also started drafting the Policy paper to the Health Policy Advisory Committee (HPAC) and that she hopes to have it ready before the end of this coming week.
