Planning and Budgeting for TB

Short description
This spreadsheet-based tool provides a framework to develop plans and budgets for TB control. It collects costing information, but also sources of funding for each intervention and calculates funding gaps. It produces summary tables and figures automatically.

Purpose
The purpose of this tool is to assist planning and cost of activities to control TB in a country, in particular to plan in line with the Stop TB Strategy and target sets out in the Global Plan to Stop TB, 2006-2015.

Methodology and type of data required
It consists of the ingredients approach (quantities of resources required multiplied by unit cost of the resource) and the bottom-up approach.

National TB program managers/coordinators, at national or sub-national level
