In the commune of Ross Béthio, several children of migrants returning to the Saint-Louis region received their membership cards for the commune’s Mutuelle de Santé.
The operation is on the initiative of the leaders of the Jeunesse Espoir organization, as part of the implementation of the Reintegration and Empowerment Project for the well-being of migrant women and children returning to the region. The aim is to improve their well-being so that they can benefit from health coverage and integrate into the Senegalese education system.
A total of 200 children will be covered at 80% by the Mutuelle de Santé de Ross Béthio. Their parents will only have to pay 20% of the costs. The aim is to guarantee their health.
