Saudi Arabia funded and delivered mobile clinics to Tajikistan

As part of the Foili Khair charity program, mobile clinics were delivered from Saudi Arabia to Tajikistan.

New mobile medical clinics donated by Saudi Arabia were sent to the south of Tajikistan, the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of Population reports.  They were delivered to the territory of the Khatlon region and put into operation within the charity program “Foli Khair” of the International Institute for Humanitarian Affairs of King Abdullah ibn Abdulaziz.

Within this project, four regions of Tajikistan will be immediately provided with five mobile clinics, primary and secondary medical care, diagnostics, surgery and radiology.

This will improve the quality of medical services and 700,000 people will be able to receive in the next five years. It is known that 18 million dollars were allocated to implement this project. The opening ceremony of the mobile clinic was held in Kulyab and was attended by Deputy Prime Minister of Tajikistan Matlubahon Sattorien, Ambassador of Saudi Arabia Walid ibn Abdurahmon ar-Reshaidon. In addition, Minister of Health Jamoliddin Abdullozoda, Mayor of Kulyab Bakhtiyor Nazarzoda and many other officials were present. The delegation got acquainted with the equipment of the mobile medical clinic. It included five specialized first-aid posts, trailers and ambulances.
