The Ministry of Public Health together with P4H partners visited the regional and district officials of the three districts that have been selected to pilot the national health insurance agency (on district level). All meetings were well attended and local authorities, the medical professions, the local health groups and area chefs showed a great interest in the topic. They confirmed that any prepayment schemes to finance medical fees, especially drugs, are urgently needed for the population. They also confirmed that they think there is a willingness and ability of the population to contribute with a small amount to the CNSS.
