The ACT-A Health System Connector – Process Guidance for National Budgetary Dialogue was introduced by the P4H Coordination Desk in a (virtual) meeting with the P4H Ethiopia Country Focal Person (CFP). The P4H Coordination Desk explained the importance as well as the purpose of developing the document. The P4H Coordination Desk also shared the draft report of the Health Financing for the COVID-19 Response in Papua New Guinea Guidance Note for National Budgetary Dialogue (where the framework was used and tested).
The P4H CFP shared the process guide for national budgetary dialogue as well as the report of the Health Financing for the COVID-19 Response in Papua New Guinea within the WHO Health Systems Strengthening Team. The team contemplates on the document as well as its relevance given the already multiple ongoing work on financing for health emergencies in the country.
