The study assessed the early impact of Egypt’s Universal Health Insurance (UHI) system, introduced in 2018, on beneficiaries’ perceptions of public healthcare facilities. Results showed that UHI beneficiaries reported significantly higher overall satisfaction and accessibility to health services compared to non-UHI enrollees. The findings suggest that while UHI improves satisfaction and access, further efforts are needed to enhance perceived quality, providing important guidance for future health policy decisions in Egypt.
