The study concludes that achieving UHC in Iraq by 2030 would be a challenge without proactive strengthening of the healthcare systems. Prioritising nationwide primary healthcare services and regulating public-private role-allotment in the health sector are crucial in improving low coverage indicators and decreasing disparities among governorates.
