On October 14 in Berlin, the event titled “Partnering for Efficiency: Strengthening Collaboration in Health Financing and Digital Health in times of Resource Constraints” will address the significant pressures facing the global health financing landscape. Participants can attend either in person or online by clicking the button that will be available on the day of the event.
The global health financing landscape is facing significant pressure.
Donor withdrawals, shifting political priorities, and growing demands on limited resources are threatening progress towards Universal Health Coverage (UHC), especially in low- and middle-income countries. As a result, access to essential health services remains out of reach for more than half of the world’s population. Strong, strategic, and innovative partnerships are therefore more important than ever.
In this session, we will:
- Showcase successful partnerships based on the country examples of Nepal, Cameroon and Uzbekistan, and best practices of how to have enhanced coordination and alignment in health financing.
- Present ideas on how digital transformation in health can enhance the mobilization and more efficient use of domestic resources.
- Offer a joint reflection on the future outlook of partnerships in a changing global health landscape.
