The Jordan Ministry of Finance has estimated JD 9.93 billion in public spending this year as it focuses on not shrinking spending capabilities despite the grave challenges posed by the Pandemic.
The main axes of the budget are maintaining health sector expenditures and achieving social protection among others. The government has created a fund of JD 165 million to fight the COVID 19 pandemic alongside the usual health sector allocations to achieve these healthcare objectives.
