7th Annual health financing forum: Investing in health

The 7th Annual Health Financing Forum (AHFF), hosted by The World Bank Group, USAID, and the Global Financing Facility (GFF), is scheduled to take place from April 15-17, 2024, in Washington DC and virtually.

This forum stands out as a significant global gathering that brings together key stakeholders involved in health financing and broader fiscal policy discussions. Renowned for its role as a distinctive platform, the AHFF facilitates extensive dialogue among practitioners, academics, and experts, enabling the exchange of the latest scientific insights and country-specific experiences in formulating, implementing, and advancing health financing policies.

With its diverse participant base spanning finance and health sectors, the AHFF offers an unparalleled opportunity for sharing ideas, experiences, and best practices. The forum aims to foster a dynamic environment conducive to robust discussions, challenging existing norms, and fostering innovation.

Drawing hundreds of officials from Ministries of Finance and Health of low and middle-income nations, alongside representatives from bilateral and multilateral institutions, the private sector, civil society, think tanks, and academia, the AHFF serves as a platform for practical and aspirational exchanges. Attendees engage in discussions that provide practical insights and inspire fresh thinking to enhance their work in health economics and financing.
